On other weekend of glorious weather Reigate bounced back from last weeks league defeat with a vintage display of fine attacking rugby.

Many thanks to all the players who turned up and for a great team effort allowing for everyone to have some game time and for playing for the opposition in the latter stages of the game.

Reigate got of to a flying start from receiving the kick off with fine back play and going over within the first minute. The first half generated 9 tries with the backs grabbing the majority and the forwards fronting up with a few of there own well worked tries. The first half was Reigate at its best and there are to many people to mention so well done all.

The second half the pace slowed down and for periods Woking had Reigate pinned down in there own half which lead to a “Drop Goal” and a try, the “Drop Goal” will probably be debated for a good while! However Reigate were always looking dangerous with new boy Matt going over and a spectacular effort from the half way line by Sean.

Special thanks, has to go to Chris, Simon and Rich for playing for the opposition at various points and new guys Matt, Ryan, and Chris and Eric for not only playing front row but coming back on at various points to cover for injuries and to Woking for playing there part and enjoying a few beers in the bar afterwards, I am sure it will a harder task up at there place.

Lastly a big thanks to James B, who has played his last game for Reigate for the moment and we all wish him well on his new adventure in the New York……or we could see him next week!!!!!
