The harsh weather mother nature has been dishing out recently could have put the stop to the weekend fixtures but lucky for Reigate the pitch soften up. With an unheard of squad of 19 players Reigate decided it was about time they turned some of there narrow losses into a win.

Old Cats started the game well and dominated for the first 15 minutes and camped down in Reigates half, but some robust tackling kept them at bay, on another day we would have been 3 tries down, but there was a determination in Reigate that when it does show its face is a force to be reckoned with.

The later half of the first half saw Reigate start to dominate and getting close to the holy grail on many occasions but could not get the final ball away. The half time whistle went and it was Nil - Nil, after the sterling work from the first half the boys in blue were determined not to throw it away. Eventually something had to give and it was the Old Cats that were breached. With fine work from the forwards to send new boy Russell crashing in under the posts.

Old Cats started to fight there way back into the game but Reigate, knew they could not, and will not throw it away, they should have been second try up but due to a forward pass at the last minute it did not count(hmm you know who you are). Some fine running by Reigate full back and a chip to the corner saw Reigate use there rugby heads and took a quick throw and over they went for the second try. Reigate continued to press and the gaps started to appear with pint sized winger Johhn "Greatman" going over to make the games result beyond doubt. Lucky for Reigate Simon Cowell had broken off from filming Britains Got Talent to watch the might 2s and reliased that Britain has got talent and its in Regate! and the 1s won as well!

To celebrate there win the 2s took full advantage of "Happy Hours" and merrily got smashed in the club house, however most people can't remember what happen but a good time was had!

Thanks to new boys Nick and Rusell.
